PRODUCT RETURN POLICY

1. Warranty Return

Regular warranty on Bizerba equipment purchased from Bizerba is 12 months from the date of
invoice.
The warranty period on spare parts purchased outside the regular equipment warranty is 90 days
from the install date or 180 days from the date of purchase which ever occurs first.
Warranty parts might be returned for credit or free exchange.
Credit: any part covered under warranty can be returned for full credit within 2 Weeks after the
job is completed. For any warranty return we require a copy of the work order and the completed
RMA form containing the serial number of the equipment or the invoice number for the purchased
part.
Free exchange: any part covered under warranty can be returned for free exchange within 4
Weeks after the job is completed. For warranty return we require a copy of the work order and the
completed RMA form containing the serial number of the equipment or the invoice number of the
part purchased.
Shipping: Bizerba covers ground shipments to any destination within the United States. Any
express shipments for warranty parts are not covered by Bizerba USA.

2. Exchange Return

All exchange parts listed in the price list can be returned for replacement. Parts returned for
exchange require a pre-approved RMA from Bizerba together with a PO for the exchange part.
Exchange price only applies if the defective part is returned to Bizerba prior to the shipment of the
replacement part.
Exception: We are willing to support you on parts where we do not expect you to carry them in
stock. That might be the case if the population of the equipment in your area is too low to stock
parts or if you replace “unusual” parts.
In this case we will ship parts in advance and issue a credit for the difference if we receive the part
within 2 weeks after the job was completed.
!!! This procedure is not standard and needs to be arranged with our parts department before we
ship the replacement part.

3. Parts return to Stock (up to 90 days from date of purchase).

Parts return to stock will be credited with a reduction of 15% restocking fee. We require a copy of
our invoice or invoice/order number/your purchase order of your original order.
Please note that we can not accept the return of used parts for re-stocking. This applies also for
opened and unsealed electronic boards and components.

4. Overstock parts return

If you want to return overstocked parts you can request to return them to Bizerba. Please send
your request listed on an Excel sheet to Bizerba for pre-approval.
We will evaluate the list and offer a return credit. The credit is based on a number of factors and
has to be negotiated on a case by case basis.
Please note that you can only return new parts in original sealed bags and used parts with
exchange price marked in our current price list.
Requests for return of parts for discontinued equipment might be rejected if we are unable to resell
the parts. Please manage your stock active in a way that you reduce your stock levels for
discontinued equipment on time.
